She hates her job in Richmond. Rachel Hammond has never fit in and her father has never let her forget it. She joined the city's most successful real estate corporation, but nothing she did or said ever pleased him. Her father, a cut-throat businessman, couldn't be more disappointed in his daughter's lack of ambition.
Rachel flees the life she knew and the family patriarch's verbal abuse to start a new life. She moves to Cove Creek, a quaint town in Southwestern Virginia where everyone knows everyone.
The only problem is they aren't telling her what they know.
